Together with your surgeon you will discuss the decision to perform surgery. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have in order to understand the implications of the surgery.

Anaesthesia and pre-operative examinations 

The anaesthetist will generally contact you approximately 2 weeks before the surgery.

The anaesthetist assesses your health condition and decides whether additional examinations are necessary.

The required examinations are prescribed by the anaesthetist or your general practitioner.

Pre-operative examinations can, if desired, be performed by your general practitioner.
